Description:
Flaming River 1961-62 Impala Power rack and pinion cradle kits deliver over 6 in. of travel, have an adjustable pinion angle, and provide a full lock-to-lock turning radius. The travel bar system features a stabilizer guide clamp that provides added stability and is designed to properly position the steering pivot points in the original location and deliver the original turning radius. They use the factory tie rods to connect the travel bar to the vehicle’s spindles. These kits install in the original mounting holes for the steering box and idler arm assembly.
